Wildcats Win Third Straight to Snag Last Playoff Spot
Dragons Sit Locker and Others in Loss to LA

Los Angeles, CA - Despite sitting a majority of their starters, the game started out looking like the Dragons were going for the perfect regular season. After a Wildcat FG, WR Davone Bess took the Kick Return 104 yards to the house, and then after a Wildcat RB Kendall Hunter fumble, Dragon RB Vick Ballard took a 28 yard carry for another score to give the Dragons the early 14-3 lead.
However, Jimmy Clausen settled in in the 2nd Quarter and got LA back on track. He hit WR AJ Jenkins down the sideline for a 31 yard TD pass and then came right back and hit slot WR Donnie Avery down the seam for a 30 yard score. With both teams adding a Field Goal in the 2nd quarter, the game sat at a 20-17 Wildcat halftime lead.
The second half is where you saw one team just want it more than the other. The Wildcats shredded the Seattle defense for 213 yards passing in the 2nd half alone, and just poured on the points for a 37-20 victory. The Dragons will receive a playoff bye next week as the Wildcats will get to take on the surging Alphas in Chicago.
