Monarch's Hubbard Goes in 2nd Round of NFL Draft

April 25, 2022

Cleveland, OH - Montreal Monarchs' RB Chuba Hubbard went #45 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft on Friday. The Carolina Panthers drafted Hubbard in the second round to pair with all-pro RB Christian McCaffery.

Last year, Hubbard fell to the Tennessee Titans in the 4th round. He used the AAF to improve his draft stock and his initial salary drastically. He does intend to sign with the Panthers after the conclusion of the Monarchs' season.
