Stamford, CT - Vince McMahon and the Alliance ownership groups believe they have bounced back from a very tumultuous 2020 with back to back years of major profit. Over the course of the last two fiscal seasons, the Alliance has brought in $1.24B in net revenue for a profit of $721M, a $32M profit margin for each AAF franchise.


The report states that the league is 1% owned by Alpha Entertainment LLC(McMahon), 1% Legendary Field Exhibitions LLC(Ebersol), 4.4% Speros Sports LLC(Speros), 4.4% for Manning Sports LLC(Manning), 4.4% RedBird Capital Partners LLC(Johnson), 8.8% Monumental Sports and Entertainment LLC(Leonsis), 4.4% Dundon Capital Partners LLC(Dundon), 4.4% Wirtz Corporation LLC(Wirtz), 4.4% Crane Capital Sports LLC(Crane), 4.4% Greenberg Sports Group LLC(Greenberg), 4.4% Jobs Sports and Entertainment LLC(Powell-Jobs), 4.4% TD Sports and Entertainment LLC(Moglia), 4.4% Schultz Family Sports LLC(Schultz), 4.4% Pelosi Football LLC(Pelosi), 4.4% Park Lane Sports and Entertainment LLC, 4.4% Zuffa LLC(Fertittas), 4.4% Maverick Cuban Sports LLC(Cuban), 4.4% Maloof Family LLC(Maloof), 4.4% Trifecta Sports and Entertainment LLC(Hearst), 4.4% Tampa Bay Sports and Entertainment LLC(Vinik), 4.4% Atlanta Sports LLC(Armstrong), 4.4% S and S Sportsco LLC(Spiegel & Stern), 4.4% Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment LLC(Manning) and 1% Spring League Football LLC(Woods).


Expenditures totaled $282M for the 2021-2022 fiscal season. Costs consisted of $154M from player contracts, $60M in front office/coaching contracts, $22M in stadium leases, $22M in traveling expenses, and $24M in housing expenses.


The league did receive $165M from TV rights, $12.5M per franchise in franchise dues, $37.5M from each of the two expansion franchises, $128M in ticket sales, $40M in sponsorships and $37M in merchandise totaling $695M in total revenue.


The Alliance ended the 2022 season $413M in the black as a league. With that number, each of the twenty-two AAF franchises saw a profit of $17.1M. With the increases expected from TV rights, ticket sales, sponsorships and merchandise, the owners are very pleased with where the league is sitting.


Oliver Luck Outlines Immediate AAF Future

Stamford, CT - AAF Commissioner Oliver Luck that the summer months wouldn't lack excitement for the Alliance fans.


Highlights from Luck's announcement consist of:

- Roster sizes will remian at 46 with two designated franchise players

- 2023 Schedule will consist of 14 regular season games

- The league re-upped on a one year television contract with ESPN, CBS, FOX and TSN for $50M each.

- Ticket prices will also raise minimally across the league each of the next three seasons

- Regular season schedule will go to 16 games for the 2024 season

- Salary cap will increase from $7M to $8M with average salaries going from $159,000 to $182,000 per player

- The salary cap number is expected to go to $10M for the 2024 season, and $12M for the 2025 season

- Franchise 26 is still be searched for. League will not move off of the $30M buy in.

- AAF Free Agency will begin October 1st

- AAF Expansion Draft will be held on November 1st on ESPN

- The draft will consist of all newly signed AAF players and the Atlantic City Blackjacks & Omaha Aviators' roster

- The AAF expects to expand from 26 to 28 teams for the 2024 season

- The 2023 Alliance Championship game will be played in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

- The Alliance Football 2023 videogame is expected to hit shelves in January of 2023


Alliance Avoids Black Monday

Stamford, CT - With the CFL-NFL Europa merged league starting their season last month, the Alliance ownership groups came to unstated gentleman's agreement to push off any kind of "black Friday" this offseason so they could avoid an influx of talent jumping into the fledging league.
