Jaws Introduces Alliance to the Soul

Philadelphia, PA - Ron Jaworski along with Trifecta Sports and Entertainment LLC are proud to announce that the Philadelphia Soul would be joining the Alliance for the 2019 season. Minority owner Ron Jaworski announced Jim Caldwell as the first Head Coach.
Jim Caldwell
Caldwell served as the Head Coach of the NFL's Detroit Lions from 2014 to 2017 and for the Indianapolis Colts from 2009 to 2011. Caldwell also served as the OC for the Colts from 2002 to 2008 and as the OC for the Baltimore Ravens from 2012 to 2013. Caldwell has coached either collegiately or professionally since 1977.
Philadelphia Soul
Joining Jim Caldwell in Philadelphia, will be Eric Mangini as the Defensive Coordinator and Pep Hamilton as the Offensive Coordinator. Mangini served as the DC for the New England Patriots from 2000 to 2005 before being named as the Head Coach of the New York Jets from 2006 to 2008 and then with the Cleveland Browns from 2009 to 2010. Most recently, Mangini was the DC for the San Francisco 49ers from 2013 to 2015. Pep Hamilton was the OC for the Indianapolis Colts from 2013 to 2015 before becoming the OC at the University of Michigan from 2016 to 2018.
Also joining the staff with the Soul will be Lito Sheppard as the DB Coach. Sheppard played in the NFL from 2002 to 2011, and as a Philadelphia Eagles corner from 2002 to 2008. This will be his first opportunity as a coach.
Philadelphia Soul Head Coach while in the AFL, Clint Dolezel, will be joining this staff as the QBs Coach while their Defensive Coordinator Phil Bogle will be joining this staff as the DL Coach.
Minority owner Ron Jaworski will serve as the General Manager of the Soul. Jaworski has served as a minority owner and GM of the Philadelphia Soul since 2011.
The Soul will be playing their home games at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
