Naturally, the Alliance would bring an initial franchise to Los Angeles
Dennis Green Brings Experience to Los Angeles
June 2, 2015
Los Angeles, CA - Vince McMahon and Alpha Entertainment LLC are proud to announce Dennis Green as the first Head Coach of the Los Angeles Wildcats.
“Dennis has mentored countless players while serving as a father figure for many of them. He has taken great pride in helping assistants advance their careers. His tenure as one of the first African American Head Coaches in both college and the NFL was transformative.”
Los Angeles was a foregone conclusion for McMahon with one of his initial four franchises. McMahon understands television and knows he has to get his league on as many television sets as possible.

Green most recently was the Head Coach of the Sacramento Mountain Lions in the United Football League from 2009 to 2011 when the league folded. “No one in the Alliance is getting let off the hook. I look forward to this great opportunity.”

Scott was currently serving as the Head Coach of the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. Kiffin is an absolute coaching legend. Kiffin has coached football at the division 1 or NFL level for over 50 years. He is most notoriously remembered as the Defensive Coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he won a Super Bowl during his thirteen season stint. Kiffin most recently was the Defensive Coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in 2013 and 2014.
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer QB Shaun King will serve as the Running Backs Coach, while former USC Trojan and Carolina Panther Keary Colbert will serve as the Wide Receivers Coach.
