Brian Billick Returns to Baltimore

Baltimore, MD - Ted Leonsis along with Monumental Sports and Entertainment LLC are proud to announce former NFL Super Bowl Champion and Baltimore Ravens Head Coach Brian Billick as the leader of the Baltimore Alliance franchise.

Billick was the Head Coach of the Baltimore Ravens from 1999 to 2007, where he won the 2001 NFL Championship. Previously, Billick was the Offensive Coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 1994 to 1998.


Baltimore Brigade

Joining Billick in Baltimore will be Jim Fassel as the Offensive Coordinator and Kurt Schottenheimer as the Defensive Coordinator. Fassel coached under Billick with the Ravens from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, he was the Head Coach for the New York Giants from 1997 to 2003, and was an offensive coordinator in the league from 1991 to 1996. Fassel, last served as a coach from 2009 to 2012 for the UFL's Las Vegas Locomotives where he won two league championships. Schottenheimer last served as coach in 2011 and 2012 as the Head Coach for the UFL's Virginia Destroyers. Prior to that, he was a Defensive Coordinator or Special Teams Coordinator in the NFL from 1987 to 2010.


Former New England Patriot Linebacker Jerod Mayo will be serving as the Linebackers Coach for the Brigade. Mayo played for the Patriots from 2008 to 2015. This will be his first coaching job.


Phil Savage will serve as the General Manager of the Brigade. Savage served as the GM of the Cleveland Browns from 2005 to 2008, and in the front office of the Philadelphia Eagles from 2009 to 2012.


The Brigade will be playing their home games at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.


Alliance League Devastated by News of the Death of Wildcats HC Dennis Green

Los Angeles, CA - On July 22, Los Angeles Wildcats Head Coach Dennis Green died at the age of 67 due to complications from cardiac arrest. He was survived by his wife and four children.


Offensive Coordinator Scott Milanovich would take over Head Coach responsibilities for the team while Norm Chow has been signed to become the new Offensive Coordinator. Chow last served as the Head Coach at the University of Hawaii from 2012 to 2015. Chow was the Offensive Coordinator for the USC Trojans from 2001 to 2004, the NFL's Tennessee Titans from 2005 to 2007 and for the UCLA Bruins from 2008 to 2011.
