The Forty Man Rosters Have Been Built for all 8 AAF Teams

Busy Three Day Stretch for the Alliance

Austin, TX - Commissioner Oliver Luck announced that the AAF has concluded their three day Player Draft on Sunday Night with the Offensive Lineman and Specialists. The teams drafted offensive skill positions over twenty rounds on Friday, defensive players over twenty rounds on Saturday and then finished up with ten rounds for the lineman and special teams players.

We’re confident this group represents the best available players in the market. They are looking forward to the opportunity to begin, extend or revitalize their professional careers, and we’re going to do everything in our power to help them succeed on and off the field.

Trent Richardson, Joe McKnight, Karlos Williams, Justin Blackmon, Leonard Hankerson, Greg Little, Brandon Gibson and Jarrett Boykin made up the first round selections on Friday. Da'Quan Bowers, Taylor Mays, Jermaine Cunningham, Geno Hayes, Anthony Spencer, Terrell Thomas, Ronald Powell and Everette Brown were the first round selections for the defensive portion of the draft on Saturday. The first round of the last day were highlighted by Carl Nicks, Gabe Carimi, Sam Baker, and Garrett Hartley.
